'You are Unique'

The motif on my card today is called 'Princess Feathers Portrait' from Sassy Studio Designs. She was an absolute dream to color! Gorgeous image, thinking of the Pocahontas movie by Disney while painting.. I think I'll watch it again this weekend, been years since last time :) 
I got an awesome clearstamp-set named 'Feathered Friends' in the cardmaking magazine Creative Stamping. So many cute birds n feathers! I'm sure I'll be using it very often in my crafting ♥
Something I haven't used from my stash for ages is Prima flowers, and I have sooooo many of them! Which is a good thing as I actually messed up my card with black smudges here and there.. and had to hide them somehow! ;)

Luminarte Twinkling H2o's Shimmering Watercolors, and Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads & markers to watercolor and distress image and papers. Ranger Glossy Accents.

It was early 2010 when I first discovered this wonderful shoppe with amazing artists (then only in high quality rubber, in the later years also in digital stamps), and I have been a HUGE fan ever since.. or hoarder I may as well say .. as I tend to buy all I see that I 'need' ..and they have become so many that I have lots not used once yet! Anyone else? *lol*
I also tend to buy the very same stamps sometimes.. so I get some duplicates!

Jeg ELSKER Steampunk! ♥ det er en herlig blanding av Vintage og gammeldags Sci-fi/Fantasy... masser av klokker og tannhjul, alt går i brunt og metall, ting er drevet av damp ~ luftballonger, dampskip og damp-lokomotiver,  zeppelinere, og viktorianske  klær og hatter... CRAFTY TIP: To make all the holes I used one of my absolute fave tools, the ProvoCraft SilentSetter (see SimpScrapbookingNow's great tutorial/show&tell on youtube), which has three sizes of holes! No need for the fancy & expensive new hole-background dies out there ~ make your own :)

My card today is feauturing the lovely 'Beehive and roses' from our sponsor Lemon Shortbread in challenge #97. over at Creative Fingers! They make the most gorgeous anime inspired digistamps ♥ I chose vintage colors and a simple layout to really make her the centerpiece. The only embellishment she needed was a nice frame, and a bit of shine from my Glossy and Twinks!

This has to be my absolute fave combo of my dies! Seriously, if you are new to crafting and considering buying dies for your big shot, cuttlebug or other diecut maschine ~ theese three die sets mix and match perfectly together, endless variations and uses for frames and mats, even sending your cardbase through one of the large dies gives you a great shaped card! See all my cards using theese awesome dies here! :)

However, the Grand die set for Labels One is actually made for the bigger die cutting maschines, so you cannot fit the two biggest dies in this set inside the regular Big shot or Cuttlebug (only the really BIG maschines that goes above 6 inches does that) but the remaining dies are just SO worth getting that die set that I reccommend it none the less! 
I Scrap Happy show you just how the grand dies fit in your regular diecut maschine in her video on youtube here. If u watch this, be aware that now there is an extended platform that makes some of the long dies she shows cut just fine! ...I'm so gonna buy the grand labels four next :) 
If you you are brand new to crafting with diecuts, and unsure about what a diecut maschine does, like a Cuttlebug, Big Shot or the Big Shot Plus and others too, do a search for them on youtube! Best source for tutorials! 
Also, Scrapmadesimple has a great youtube vid here ~ and here ~ and you get a laugh as well ;)
