~ New Years ~ the Magic of Christmas ~

Whoopee! I LOVE reading Agatha Christie novels, as well as movies and tv-series from the 1920s 30s and 40s ~ archeology, womens liberation & individuality was the bees-knees back then! :) Just think of Egypt in the 20s! The discovery of Tutankhamons toomb.. the valley of the kings and the wonders of the pyramids as they were mostly untouched by tourists... Gangsters and bootleggers. The Wizard of OZ!

Think I was about 12 years old when I wrote a special school project about A.Christie. And I remember my big crush on Indiana Jones *sigh* I wanted to BE an archeologist.. or writer.. Do you remember the tv-series of young Indy? Ab-so-lute-ly LOVED it! ♥

Techniques:

To make the bow I used the 'Bow-Easy' tool, very easy indeed! before this my bows looked really messy, and I often had to undo and redo a million times. U can't go wrong with this tool, just sayin'!

Dette er min første bloggpost som medlem av Creative Fingers DesignTeam! Har vært gjeste-designer for andre utfordringsblogger før, men dette er første gangen jeg er med som permanent team-medlem. Kjempegøy!
Kommer til å ha en bloggcandy for å feire det, og at jeg utrolig nok har rundet 40.000 besøk på bloggen ;)

For my card I've used 'Lycaonia', a digi I've had for ages, and it was absolutely about time to ink it up, gorgeous as it is! I'm a big fantasy lover, and read lots of books of the supernatural ~ about werewolves, elves, vampires and such ~ and I get a strong werewolves-vibe from this image! So I made a fairytale christmas card :)

Faith, Hope & Love

Noen ganger trenger man å lage et kjappis kort - dette bryllupskortet var et sånt et! Tror jeg brukte en halvtime på det - og vanligvis tar prosessen min 2-3 timer... Veeeldig glad i masse stæsj og håndmalte trykk, men dette glansbildet var søtt nok i seg selv ♥ Se den flotte siden jeg fant om Glansbilder! :)

Sometimes u need that quickie card, and this weddingcard is just that - took me about 30 minutes, tops! Usually it takes me 2-3 hours or more, lots of stash and painting the image... But this cute scrap relief (?) that I've had for ages, was cute enough in itself :) Don't know what to call it really in english - but I found this page referring to it as scraps in english and diecut in USA - here in Norway they're called glansbilder. 
I used to collect them as a child, and still buy them occasionally, to use in my scrapbooking. Many has embossed/relief surfaces, and some with glitter. Would love to see theese getting a new reneissance into our hobby as cardmakers! It's a great resource :)
