Jeg var så heldig å vinne en utfordring på Elisabeth Bell's World challenge blog, (med dette kortet) og mottok både flotte digistempler og ble invitert til å gjeste feb. mars utfordingen deres med temaet 'favoritt EB motiv' :) Jeg har utrolig mange favoritter og uendelig med stempler i samlingen min ~ men dette er absolutt et av de nydeligste ♥

'the Worlds best Sister'

I was so lucky to win one of the Elisabeth Bell's World Challenges, (with this card) and received both some gorgeous digis as a prize and got invited to join as a guest DT :) The theme for february-march is to use a favourite image by EB. and it was really difficult to pick just one, as I have probably a hundred faves among my collection! This rubberstamp is just one of the cutest ever ♥

Techniques: I always use my Scor-Pal to score n fold my cards. I prefer Canson Montvale aquarelle paper (200 g/m coldpressed). My distress tools from Ranger Ink is always in use ~ Tim Holtz® Mini Ink Round Blending Tool & the Inkssentials Ink Blending Tool and Foams. I used misc. Luminarte Twinkling H2o's Shimmering Watercolors, and Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads & markers to watercolor and distress image and papers. Rangers Glossy accents. Wink of Stella clear glitter brush pen. Rangers clear embossing powder and stickles. Amos glitterglue. Aleenes tacky glue.

Nå som sola er tilbake så passer det vel å ta frem de varme fargene igjen (selv om det fremdeles er iskaldt her nord).. Sola er 'drodlet' på arket med glossy accents, og gir både en morsom bakgrunn for motivet, tekstur og en lur måte å lime den detaljerte diesen fast med!

I have been so lucky to get this cute ladybug family from Bugaboo to ink up as my DT project ♥ The challenge is as always themed Anything Goes, and you are most welcome to join in! :)  

Now that the sun has made a return here in the northern parts of Norway, (still freezing though) it's time to pull out warm colors for my card. The funky sun is actually glossy accents, and it gives texture and an easy way to adhere the intricate diecut. Ladybug noses & antennas plus some hearts have also gotten glossy on them, while the text has been heat embossed. Finished it off with a spray of mica. LOVE adding shine to my cards!

Mermaids Magic Wish ~ Bookmark Tag

Jeg har ei niese som elsker havfruer, ikke så rart ettersom hun heter Ariel ♥ Denne tag'en tenkte jeg hun kan bruke som et bokmerke! Det er det jeg bruker mine tags til, leser mange bøker og blader og jeg hater 'eselører' ;)
Det var egentlig meningen jeg skulle lage denne til Ching Chou Kuiks fb gruppe, siden den var en freebie, men internett fjusket i går så da ble jeg for seint ute.. MEn blogges må den jo selfølgelig, ble veldig fornøyd med fargekombinasjonen her, Tim Holtz sine distress inks er sååå fine ♥ ♥ ♥ Gleder meg til å få tak på de nye DI Oxide blekkputene ~ for en effekt! A bookmark tag for my niece Ariel ~ who ofcourse is nuts about mermaids ♥
Sadly I was not able to enter my tag into the challenge it was created for ~ the digistamp was a CCK freebie, soOo pretty! But internet was out so I was not able to get it in until today. I added it to the CCK FB group anyways just to share, but ofcourse not entering the draw :)

I was very happy with my coloring on this, Tim Holtz distress inks are always just dreamy to paint with.. And did you see? On Creativation (CHA) he announced new Oxide inkpads!!! ♥ AWESOMENESS ♥ Cannot wait to get theese to play with :)

Techniques: I always use my Scor-Pal to score n fold my cards. Usually I'll use only Rangers distress inks on every edge of the card - but to get a chalky finish I've used only Prima 'attic dust' chalk ink. And the fabulous shiny silver you see is Viva decor - Inka Gold 'Platinum'. To glue the panel and elements, Gel matte medium and Rangers glossy accents. Heat tool and clear embossing powder from Ranger ink.
I used HeroArts ombré inkpad 'light to red royal' on the layered Altenew rose stamp. I really got to get more of these kind of stamps, so much fun when you have a Misti tool to position the stamp correctly each time :)
