Hello Sweetie!

'Hello Sweetie!'

.. Hello Sweetie! .. Don't Blink! ..
.. The Angels have the phonebox! .. It's bigger on the inside ..
.. Are you my Mummy? .. Fantastic! .. Allons-y! .. Geronimo! ..
.. Brilliant! .. Exterminate! .. Delete .. Bow ties are cool ..
.. Oh, Yes! .. Trust me, I'm the Doctor .. Spoilers ..
....

All some of my favourite catchphrases from the best sci-fi show ever ~ Doctor Who! (ok then, I have several best ever's! lol).. And I highly reccomend it, super witty and funny, fantastic characters and exiting stories, romantic even ~ it helps if u have a love for fantasy and fiction to appreciate it, but it's a show everone will love ♥ I like to say that my first doctor was Nine, but my heart belongs to Ten (David Tennant), and I have a good friend in 11. Not a big fan of 12 yet, but he's growing on me..
It's River Song (spoilers *his wife*) who says 'Hello Sweetie!' whenever she catches up with the Doctor, so it's a great sentiment to have on my Doctor Who themed card. The main motif is not just an ordinary oldfashioned police phonebox, but a time travel machine! Which ofcourse is much much bigger on the inside..

I thought I needed an sci-fi background to go with my awesome VLVS stamps, and have used a real cool stencil by Patti Tolley Parrish aka Inky Obsessions, who looks kind of techy and alien. Patti is one of the people I follow on youtube, such a creative and funny lady! Here's her channel if you want to have a hoot :)

inside detail

Stamps/Images: Viva Las Vegas Stamps VLVS rubberstamps from 'Plate 925' Doctor WHO. And the wonky frame is one of my own digistamps 'Checkered Doodle Frame' which u can find in my etsy store Digi Doodle Stamps by Tindaloo.
Papers: Bazzill cardstock. Plain white cardstock. .
Embellishments/Tools: iStencils ~ Patti Tolley Parrish 'PTP 8x8 Round Exclusive'. EK Success® Whale Of A Punch 'Large Circle 1.75'. Unknown washi tape.
Techniques: I always use my Scor-Pal to score n fold my cards. I prefer Canson Montvale aquarelle paper (200 g/m coldpressed). My distress tools from Ranger Ink is always in use! ~ Tim Holtz® Mini Ink Round Blending Tool & the Inkssentials Ink Blending Tool and Foams. I used misc. blue Luminarte Twinkling H2o's Shimmering Watercolors, and Tim Holtz Distress Ink pads to watercolor and distress image and papers.
For the stenciling I used Ranger ink clear embossing powder. After heating it up, I used 'Hickory smoke' and 'Black soot' DI to color the square. Mica powder + water in a spray = shiny misting spray on top of the distress inked and stenciled embossed background.
For the bluish bacground inside: The stencil was flipped over with the remaining embossing ink on it for a second print, which kind of looked cooler than the first!
