Sock-Monkey Shaker Card!

I have to make a quickie post tonight.. as I haven't got much time to get it in for a challenge, as usual ;) I made a shaker-card to go with a baby book that my sister Silje will get soon in the mail from me. She's not my sister by blood, but of heart This image fits her perfectly, she's a cheeky one..
She's she sweetest girl I know, but she has an amazing sense of humour wich is a wee bit sadistic... If you stub your toe there will be no end of the cackle laughter! Silje & Ragnar (she's multi-handicapped & Ragnar wich is a baby doll / puppet, follows wherever she goes ~ or rather wheels around) will surely appreciate the voice box on this book... *lol* I'm sure Silje will think it's him who's doin' the laughing :)

I'm entering my card at:

Stamps/Images: Digital image from Odds & Soxlets - Baby Emilia Copyright EricaMartyn CDACPC17 freebie. Magnolia 'BakgrundsSwirl Bröllup' rubberstamp. Papirloftet textstamp (=You are unique).
Papers: misc Bazzill cardstocks, and a plain passepartout card blank. Webster's Pages - Petite Papers 6x6 combo pack 'Postcards from Paris & Sweet as Cherry Pie'. Handmade paper from Notabene, and also some giftwrapping hearts paper!
Embellishments/Tools: Red microbeads. 3D foam tape. Nille dekór butterfly. QuicKutz Revolution die 'Sunburst' REV-0049.
And I've used Tim holtz Distress Ink Markers & pads to color and distress the card & image, and I found out that the markers has excellent writing-nibs as well as the brush tip! :)

  2. Adorable! I love the bright colours.
I've got some passepartout cards years ago and I find it difficult to make nice cards out of them. Perhaps I should start making shaker cards. thank you very much for this inspiration!

  4. thanks for the kind comments :)

@Wenche ~ ja navnet er skrevet for hånd, er ikke så glad i håndskrift, livredd for å ødelegge hele kortet ~ så jeg tyr mest til stempler eller diecuts ~ men man må jo teste sine egne grenser iblandt ;)
