Confirmation Easel Card ~ for a Boy!

(se tag: Confirmation) Så all ære til stempel produsentene! :)

This easel card was made as a comissoned card for a boys confirmation day last Friday, given from one of my brothers girlfriend & their family ~ and I've been told it was a hit.. So I'm very satisfied with the outcome, but all credit goes to theese awesome stamps ~ my favourites to use on male confirmation cards! :)
I've used this one, 'Steven' before on cards (check out the 'Confirmation' tag to see previous cards), and while I was at it I colored in some more images of the same ~ so there will be more soon!

Inside detail ~ money pocket!

I'm entering my card in theese challenges:
  • Crafty Cardmakers #67. ~ For the Boys! (my second entry, the first is my sailboat box!).
  • Fab 'n' Funky #119. ~ Celebrating Male-ness!
  • Kort O Mania #62. ~ Alt er lov (anything goes).
  • Oldie but a goodie ~ Die cuts & Punches! (actually everything u see is more than 6 mnths old! Papers, dies, stamps and embellishes!)
  • The Corrosive Challenge #148. ~ The Man, the Myth, the Legend ~ Tim Holtz (I've used distress inks, embossing folder & distressing techniques by the master himself :)
Inside the card

Stamps/Images: North Star Stamps 'Single Steven' & 'Grunge - listen to the music' clearstamp. Scrappers Choice clearstamp sett 'Konfirmasjon'. Kort og Godt Stempel S-142 (flourish text stamps). HobbyHimmelen clearstampsett 'Egne Spor'. Magnolia 'BakgrundsSwirl Bröllup' rubberstamp. Scrappy Cat clearstampset 'Inspirations'.
Papers: Bazzill cardstock & swiss dots. Panduro Hobby - In Time coll. 'Pocketwatch'. Pion Design - Till Far (for father) coll. 'Fickur' (pocketwatch). DCWV - The Rockstar paperstack coll. 'Doodle rock'.
Embellishments: Waxed Linen thread from Panduro Hobby. Nille Memories paperclip. Ribbon is a reuse from a jumper, heart charm unknown. Black craft foam (mosegummi) used to raise the 3D elements This is a great tip ~ to use foam with tape instead of using up all those small expensive square dots!
The Millionaire/Monopoly money bill is from a trashed game where I kept the money ~ wich is great for explaining where to put the moneygift!
Underneath detail
Tools: Cuttlebug - Tim Holtz® 'patchwork' Texture Fades Embossing Folder. QuicKutz 'Sketchbook' Mini 4x8 alphabet set & QK RS-0085 'Dove' (retired). Spellbinder Nestabilities 'Labels 8' & 'Labels One'. Magnolia Doohickey's Dies 'Tilda Lace'.  Whale of a punch by EK. Success 'Circle'.
Edges are distressed with Distress Ink, and the Image is painted with the Tim Holtz Distress Ink Markers ~ totally in love with theese!
